Resin should be stored in a cool, dry and well ventilated place far away from heat source to avoid moisture and caking. Its color will become dark with the storage time, which will do no influence on the resin grade.

Bakelite powder is obtained by fully mixing phenolic resin with sawn wood powder, talc powder (filler), urotropine (curing agent), stearic acid (lubricant), pigment, etc., and heating and mixing in a mixer. Bakelite powder was heated and pressed in the mold to obtain thermosetting phenolic plastic products.

Bakelite has high mechanical strength,good insulation,heat resistance and corrosion resistance.therefore,it is often used to manufacture electrical materials, such as switches, lamp caps, headphones,telephone casings,instrument casings,etc.“Bakelite”is named after it.
